In proper righteousness, you spotlessly served God as a priest of grace fervently, O Venerable One, and as a pure sacrifice, and a perfect offering, you offered to Christ your life of asceticism and steadfastness in martyrdom. And at the hands of barbarians, you did not spare this passing life, but hastened to eternal life, having been arrayed in the martyrical radiance, as you fled to the Bridegroom of glory on high, O Venerable Martyr Ephraim. Therefore, entreat that those who celebrate your memory might be granted forgiveness, and great mercy.
