St. Matrona of Moscow on the coming trials

St. Matrona of Moscow (physically blind during her life, but properly depicted here with the eyes of her soul open, and whose physical eyes will also be open in Paradise) (http://pravicon.com/images/sv/s1415/s1415001.jpg)

St. Matrona of Moscow on the coming trials
To those close to her, Matushka said, “I feel so sorry for you, you will live to the last times. Life will be worse and worse. It will be very heavy. There will be a time when they will put before you a cross and bread and say: Choose!”

Those who were close to her answered, “We will choose the Cross, but how will we be able to live then?”

She replied, “We will pray, take earth, make little balls out of it. We will pray to God, we will eat and be satisfied!”

But she also said that those in difficult situations should not be afraid of anything, no matter how terrifying. "Christ has placed us on His sleigh, and He will take us where He wills.”

Through the prayers of our Holy Fathers, Lord Jesus Christ our God, have mercy on us and save us! Amen!
