A Christmas Prayer by Blessed Makrina of Portaria

Christ is born! Glorify Him!

"Tonight, I pray that we see Christ being born within us, that He might become our guide until our final breath. Good vigil, may the Grace of God give us strength. Angels and Archangels and Principalities will join chorus tonight. Noetically, may we be kneeling in Bethlehem, at the Manger, at the Star, where the vigil lasts the whole night with glory. Let us embrace Him, let us caress our little Christ like Panagia. Let Him skip like an infant within our souls. Let us show Him our love and may a spiritual and bodily rebirth occur for us. I wish you many years blessed by the Lord."

Through the prayers of our Holy Fathers, Lord Jesus Christ our God, have mercy on us and save us! Amen!
