Foreshadowing Your Resurrection, O Christ God, You took Your three Disciples Peter and James and John and ascended Tabor. And You, O Savior, were transfigured before them, while light overshadowed Mount Tabor. Your Disciples, O Logos, cast themselves down to the ground, not being able to behold Your form that is difficult to gaze upon. Angels served with fear and trembling, the Heavens were astonished, the Earth was shaken, beholding upon the earth, the glory of the Lord.
